The Tern2 Slow Pitch Jigging models are designed for those anglers looking for a star drag with a direct engage lever, that is light, easy to use, and built to get the job done.
The Tern2  features a TwinStarDrag® for a smooth, powerful drag, a Main Gear Bearing Support for added torque and power plus a spool tension knob to adjust the Freespool speed for different size jigs to prevent backlashes. These reels are lightweight and fits perfect in your hand and look good on your favorite jigging rod. The Tern2 Slow Pitch Jigging models include the TXD-300-SPJ, TXD-500N-SPJ, and the TXD-600N_SPJ. Lightweight powerful reels for a lifetime of jigging.

Salmon slaying in Alaska

Bought a 500x right before my annual trip to Alaska. This reel did NOT disappoint. From Cohos to Kings, this reel was exceptional. Great reel, and made in the USA! 🇺🇸

More line than expected

I just got my Tern 2 600 today and got it spooled with regular moss green power pro 65lbs. We’re already at 600 yds. and still have room for another 100-150 yds. if you wanna top it off hehehe. So far happy with all my accurate reels.

Great product
Got 6 months ago a 500N for Jigging and SPJ in Yucatan Mexico.
performance has been perfect for AJ, Black fins, Afrincan Pompanos, and even for deep drop queen snappers.

Black and red Tern 2 400x is a superhero

I bought it less than 2 months ago and I have 4 smaller bluefin tuna on it. This reel is a beast. Everything you need and nothing that you dont. I am leaving this review omky because I came to check line capacity for the 500x, in the mahi mahi color, which just arrived at my door today.
I know its january, but I really hope the old glory gets off the dock this friday so I can try out my 500x too!!! Happy new year! Tight lines!
